On Saturday, 4th August 2018, 12 members of East Radnor Ramblers & Four Wells Ramblers enjoyed an 11 miles circular walk from Hay on Wye. Our leader, Emlyn, took us around Mouse Castle, and on towards Hardwick where we admired the church and the meadow by it.
Our route joined the Wye Valley Walk, and we enjoyed a leisurely lunch over-looking the river. The return to Hay was entirely on the Wye Valley Walk, but alas not by the River.
It was still very pleasant, though at times we were glad of the woodland we passed through for a bit of respite from the very warm sunshine. Everyone returned to Hay safely although some opted to re-hydrate at one of the local watering holes before returning to their cars!
