On Saturday 18th August 2018, 9 walkers from both East Radnor and Four Wells groups met at Lingen Village Hall for a 10 mile circular which took us via Birtley and Mountain Buildings before picking up the Herefordshire Trail for our return to Lingen.
Some interesting things to see on the walk including Lingen Hall, and a ruined barn. The weather was warm though mostly overcast, but we had fine views to the Black Mountains and Cleehill. Some of us indulged in some blackberry picking en route.
The walk was ably led by Shirley & Emlyn who invited us back to their house for tea and cake which was much appreciated!
