The walk in the Elan Valley, led by Ian and Rosemary, originally shown as being on the 24th April is in fact on the 17th April.

As part of the Ramblers ongoing developments in faster communication we are seeking to collect email addresses from our members in Wales. This will aid us in having faster correspondence with our members, using mediums such as digital newsletters.

Four Wells Ramblers AGM

The 2009 AGM of the Four Wells Ramblers will take place on the 28th October 2009 at 7.30pm

The venue for the meeting is:

Llandrindod Wells Golf Club

Mathew Buclkler and partner Lori-ann are the new stewards
at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club. As keen walkers they would like to cordially invite all hikers, walkers and ramblers in the area, especially when using the trails around the Golf club, to come in to the Golf club. They serve a wide variety of hot and cold meals, hot and cold drinks including at least 1 real ale. The Golf Club is no longer the exclusive members only institution it is often perceived to be and is perfectly positioned for a stop off on the way or way back from a days hike down to shaky bridge or Llandegley rocks. All are welcome.

At our recent RA Group AGM, it was agreed that:-

To reduce costs, paper copies of future walks programmes, after the Spring 2009 issue, will not be posted automatically to all members allocated to the group. Alternative methods of obtaining the programme are; directly from our website, by email, or via the walks finder on the main Ramblers UK site

Programmes in future will only be posted to those who request it. You can do this by filling in the relevant information on the contact form. If you require a paper programme don’t forget your full postal address, if you want to receive it by email just say programme by email in the message box.
