A Walk from Newchurch – 8 April 2017

A select group of 8 enjoyed the beautiful spring weather on a circular walk from Newchurch to the foothills of Hergest Ridge, returning via Huntingdon and Milton Hill.  This was a varied walk of farmland, and open access, and made use of the Offa’s Dyke Path both on the outward and return routes.  Lots of celendines, wood anenomes, and lambs, but distant views to the Black Mountains were somewhat obscured by the haze.  The walk was clocked by one of the walkers as 10.9 miles.
